I've played tennis (not very well ) in San Diego for many years. Occasionally it rains - but very rarely. Heck, what's a little rain, I've seen golfers and tennis players in England playing in sheets of rain!

We like La Jolla Beach and Tennis, La Costa Resort, Indian Wells, and any park that has a tennis court!

Here is the website regarding tennis at the Claremont Hotel located the hills in Berkeley, donnae, which you might want to check out. There will still be rain however for a few more months, you didn't say what period of time you are interested in.

Silverado Resort in the Napa Valley has extensive tennis facilities. It's currently operated by Xanterra which also runs the Furnace Creek Inn in Death Valley which is probably our favorite place to play tennis in the winter.
