I went in December about a year or so ago. Loved it. You do need tickets and I bought mine in advance so not to miss it... I did not find it difficult to locate. You do need to be on time and know if you are parking (we had a car with us) it is a bit of a challenge. (I assume most tourist won't have a car with them).
You do need to be able to climb stairs and I would not recommend it if you are super claustrophobic. One of my favorite "tours" to date though!

annetti, you're welcome! I hope you get the tour and time that you want. The Irish Outsiders tour made us realize how easy we have it today. We chose that one because we have some Irish ancestry, but I've heard good things about all of them.

Thank you Volcano, my image does not appear when my photograph is taken, any way. Everyone has their favorite at the Donut Plant, mine is the blackout, while my wife's is the tres leches. I think he has stopped making churros, at least at the Grand Street location. And he made excellent churros.

Big, I'm Team Tres Leches and also Creme Brulee - mmmmm.

The Creme Brulee is fantastic. He has a proprietary method of inserting jelly into his square donuts.

One of the best museums in the city. I bought tix on line 3 times cause I didn't want to show up and have it sold out.
