Tenanment Museum

I'm thinking of going Mother's Day. Should I buy the advance tickets? I hate paying the extra fee for advanced sales. Also, do you have a preference of which tour to take?
Thanks.

It's a small place that fills up quickly. Absolutely buy advance tix if you want to get in.

I don't know if it will be busy on Mother's Day but usually tours are sold out on the weekends. I would definitely buy tickets ahead of time. I've been on three different tours and enjoyed them all. You won't go wrong.

Thank you for the info.

When we were at the Tenement Museum, the clerk explained to someone else that only about 50% of the tickets are sold on-line, the others are saved for same day walk-in customers. One could walk in when the ticket counter opens, get a ticket for a late afternoon tour and do something else in the meantime. We did the Merchant House (E. 4th St.) on the same day, which offers a nice contrast between the high and the low.
