Tempe Nov. 22-24 for conference, what to do?
 

I have a conference in Tempe. it starts on Friday November 22 and lasts until like 8 or 9 each night, Sunday ends around 6:30, I fly out Monday morning. I do not have nuch time, but can you think of anything?<BR>Someone told me there is a good music scene there. I f I do not decide to just go to bed, I'd like to know what there is to do.<BR><BR>Thanks in advance!<BR>JT

If you mean Tempe, Phoenix, Arizona ...<BR>As you're a guy you may not be interested in shopping ... but on a vacation there 2 years ago we enjoyed the discount mall &quot;Arizona Mills&quot; right there. Great shops, also multiplex. Have a good trip.

There's an IMAX theater there if you are a fan.

Can you get out of town? I strongly recommend a trip to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. It's great. As I recall it's about a 45 minute drive (might be closer).

You may want to check and see if there are any concerts going on at the University of Arizona. You may alao want to check out Mill Avenue where the college folks hang out. There are a bunch or restaurants down there and it's in Tempe.
