I was in Telluride 2 weeks ago. It is absolutely fantastic. You must make reservations ahead of time. New Sheridan Chop House is WONDERFUL. We also went to Excelsior Cafe and Cosmopolitan. They were good but New Sheridan was hands down the best meal I've had in a very long time. All 3 are highly rated and very good.

I am local, so hope this will help.

Agree with The New Sheridan. Allred's is another great place to eat. It is reached by using the Gondola and getting off mid mountain at St Sophia. Great views with food to match.

so - where did you eat??

bfish Mar 9th, 2009 06:11 PM

We ate at the Chop House it was GREAT about 170$$ for two. We ate at Honga's Lotus this was good, OK sushi, we live at the beach in Flamingo Costa Rica. The main coarse was good. Very nice owner. Siam had great Thai food this reninded my of Thailand very yummy. Also we had a good meal at Emillio's Mexican. For the price it was perfect. Typical sloopy mexican food. A meal for 2 without drinks is around 20$$. Next time to Cosmo, 221, and Alreds.. We have tickets for July 09.. Thanks for your help.

like the guy from "Everybody Loves Raymond" always said, "Holy Crap". In response to the dough spent at the Chop House. I want to have my next date take me to Telluride....not on date one though, like date 42. :)

Does anyone know how to find deals that make these places more affordable?
