We are going to be visiting N.Y. for the first time and I was wondering if anyone could give hints or tips on getting tickets to tapings of television shows. Thank you.<BR>

Which shows? Each show/network has info on their website with details. Most shows have already given out the tickets for the season , but you can get standby tickets on the morning of the show

You can do the following<BR>1. go to the website and get tickets<BR>2. call the phone number or email for tickets.<BR>3. Or just go to the shows stand on line and get in. The only shows that you will not be able to do this are Regis, Rosie, and The View. The waiting list is 3 years.

LJW~ I got tickets to Regis and Kelly in just six months! They actually sent me tickets for when I wasn't going to be there (Sept. 21)and then I sent the tickets back asking if I could have them replaced for the next month and I received them about four days before leaving for New York! That was in October. Maybe it was because of the 9-11-01 tragedy.

The TV reviewer in my local paper (St. Louis Post Dispatch) just did a story on this earlier this week. You can look on the paper's website for info - STLtoday.com

Thanks Topper, but I do have the tix. I was just looking at the fine print on the letter that gave me the impression I still might not get in (to Regis & Kelly if anyone is interested-see my sep. thread). Thanks.
