Teen trip
 

I am looking for suggestions on where a good place would be to take 12 and 13 year olds on a 4 -5 day vacation in the state. Any experiences or ideas would be appreciated.

But . . . you have tagged the thread for Iowa . . . does that mean you live in Iowa? Or maybe want to vacation in Iowa?

Your question provides absolutely no useful info - When? Do you want to drive or fly? What sorts of things are you looking for/want to do?

OP looks to live in Iowa. I guess starting from Iowa but more information would be helpful. Some likes and dislikes would also help because what one teen likes, another might despise, etc. Are you looking for shopping with sightseeing type of trip? Maybe something that involves walks, hiking and some relaxation? Are you wanting to go this summer or next year? Knowing whether you plan to fly or drive to your destination would be good to know as well. I could help with a fly to destination but not with a driving vacation from Iowa.

If they love the beach and fun water adventure, I would suggest bring them in Hawaii!

Not in four days from Iowa . . .

We are looking at the Wisconsin Dells, which isn't too far from Iowa (depending on what part).

Yes we live in Iowa. We could drive or fly. Love sight seeing action. They need to be busy and love the outdoors and rides.
Looking for wow factors for teens. A trip they would not forget. They have been to Mexico, 6 flags,lots of camping(nada)and florida. Looking for some great site seeing.

Where would you reccomend a great lake resort by WI dells with lots of lake activites for teens?
