Has anyone been here? If so, when is the best time of day to go? Did you go after your drive to Hana or during your bike trip down Haleakala? or made it its own destination. Any ideas would be great.<BR><BR>Thanks<BR>Lara

Lara, the winery is waaaay out in the boonies. I would make it its own destination. Definitely not after a drive to Hana. You could, theoretically, do it after a morning on Haleakala but you might be too tired.

I am having a hard time believing that there is anything in the "boonies" in Hawaii. The islands can't be that enormous. <BR><BR>Or is the trip more vertical?

Surprisingly there are "boonies" on the islands, along with crowds, rush hour traffic jams, and other things that you don't expect.

Hi Lara, we got an early start(8 AM)on the road to Hana and drove it all the way around.We had the audio tape and map and did all of the usual stops.In driving it all thw way around you pass the vineyard on your way out,we stopped for the tourand bought a few items.While there we sat at one of<BR>their picnic tables opened one of our purchases and had our packed lunch which we were to busy to eat earlier in the day.Yep its a long day but endurable in paradise.....you can rest when you return home.<BR>Have a safe trip !!

We stopped there as the last one on a Hana van tour. Nice setting & views, lovely & cool. Their wine has a ways to go, however ! We are using the two-pack my wife bought.. for cooking.<BR>p.
