Teddy Roosevelt NP how many days?
 

Hello! Next summer my family will be driving through the Dakotas and Wyoming. Should we spend 1 or 2 days in Theodore Roosevelt National Park? We want to do some short hikes, but don't want to camp anywhere. Your answers are greatly appreciated!

TR National Park has two units: the North one and the South one. I would say that (1) each one would take about one day to appreciate and (2) you don't need to see both units. Since the South Unit is right off I-94, you might as well visit that one.

Who knows -- you might hit road gridlock in TR National Park!

We were there last week and did the south unit only and found one day to be more than enough. I was surprised at how non-busy it was even 4th of July week.
