Great Stone Castle B&B Sidney Ohio

Has anyone had any experience with the Great Stone Castle in Sidney Ohio? My mother and I are going to stay there in August and I can't find any reviews.

Out of curiosity, what will you be doing in Sidney?

I googled and took a look. I am sure you are going to have a great time. Things like that tend to be very well done in that area.

My mom and I (65 & 45) go on an annual road trip for a few days. Last year we took back roads from Ft. Wayne Indiana to Saugatuk and had such fun just rambling through small towns. This year we are heading east to Kelleys Island OH and then down to the Great Stone Inn and roads and towns in between. No real agenda, just a drive. Now if the gas prices would just cooperate!! Ha!

Well, would you know of anything interesting we should be doing or seeing within 20-30 miles of there. On a Wednesday? I know it's all small towns, but that's kinda fun for a road trip.

I was in Sidney a couple of years ago doing some genealogy research and I think it is worth a drive downtown to see the Courthouse. I thought it was a very impressive structure.

Be sure to check out the great Louis Sullivan bank in downtown Sidney. A little architectural jewel.

You might like Yellow Springs, north of Dayton. John Bryan Park is there as well as Youngs' Dairy. Y-S is a nice little artsy community.
