who else thinks tea in a styrofoam cup and tea using water heated in a coffee machine are disgusting? I hate having tea that tastes like coffee.

Someone else mentioned tea in Ireland. When I was there about 4 years ago it was a pleasant cultural difference to US to find that tea/coffee was served in real cups - even at little roadside places. People actually sat down and drank it, rather than styrofoam cups with warnings that contents were hot printed in big letters on the side.

The reason for the styrofoam cup is that people may not have time to sit down for a cup of tea or coffee. It's simply a convenience for those on the run. Maybe people in other countries have more time to relax than many of us here in the US.
