Taxis on Maui

We're staying near the Embassy Suites and wanted to know if it was easy to get a taxi to downtown Lahaina and if so, what the fare would be.

Yes, cabs are easy to get. There are many local companies. We use Oli's Taxi when we party around Kihei though, but I think they pretty much stay in south Maui. I don't use cabs up that way, but if you ask the front desk they will call one for you. Get the driver's card and call him back when it is time to return.

I called one random local cab company in Lahaina and asked. They said about $13 from Embassy Suites to Lahaina Town.
