Taxi to Vegas

Hi. I'm staying in a villa just outside Vegas (in Henderson) for a week of my honeymoon in June. Do you think i'll have any problems getting a taxi to the strip and back later? We have a car, but want to be free to have a drink or three!

Is it the Montelago villas?

No, it's a private villa. I believe it's about 15 mins from the strip.

Hello,
You can get a taxi to Los Angeles if you want!! You will have no problems! Have fun!

Since you will be traveling from Henderson it may be good to call a taxi and reserve for a specific time. Waits can be 30+ mins sometimes during peak times at off strip hotels. Also, it will be an expensive fare, probably around $70 round trip. Check to see if the hotel offers shuttles to the strip. You don't mentione the specific location of the villa but Henderson is around 25 mins from the strip or more.

Good advice, thanks. We do have a car but want to be able to drink so we don't have a choice. The cab fare will be nothing compared to the amount we'll be gambling!

It shouldn't be any big deal - Henderson IS part of Las Vegas, it is a suburban area right next door. There are numerous hotels there too (Sunset Station and Green Valley Ranch for example)and it's only a few minutes from the Strip.
