Taxi or Hotel sedan?

I’m arriving at JFK late afternoon in July. Travelling to The Ludlow Hotel Lower East Manhattan. The hotel rate for their sedan is 108 dollars. Would a taxi be cheaper?

A taxi will be $36 cheaper, including tip and toll. And unless you are flying into Terminal 4 or 7, it will likely be much faster and easier to get one. The taxi lines at Terminals 4 and 7 can sometimes be long. If you find yourself in a long taxi line, try Uber, which will sometimes be faster and will always be cheaper than $108 (and sometimes but not always cheaper than a taxi).
