Taxi from airport to Lahaina
 

We will be taking the ferry from Maui to Molokai. To do this we will have to return our rental car to the airport and then take a taxi to Lahaina. How expensive will this be, and how long will the drive take?

Here is a similar thread from 2005. I'm sure rates are much more now.

I'm in agreement with those that suggest dropping it off at the West Maui (Kapalua) Airport or one of the rental agencies in Kaanapali (there are several major agencies there) if you can do that. The drop off fee will probably be less than the cab fare from Kahului Airport. Plus you'll save lots of time.

Maui Pleasant Taxi charges $75 for transfer from OGG to Lahaina. Other companies would probably be in the same general range.

The drive from Kahului Airport to Lahaina is about 50 minutes. We used SpeediShuttle last year because there were four of us with lots of bags.
