Taos next week

I usually do my homework before we visit a new place, but I am on a slooow lousy computor at our cabin high up in Colorado and apologize in advance. My husband and I would like some (last minute)ideas for B and Bs or small hotels in Taos. Also, any restaurants..you have enjoyed. Thanks for the help.

What price range?? Adobe & Pines Inn is really lovely - we went to wedding there last year; we couldn't stay there as wedding party had all the rooms but we did stay at Fechin Inn which is really nice. A friend of mine likes Casa de las Chimeneas B & B Inn.

Restaurants- Doc Martin's is excellent as is Joseph's Table ; Apple Tree just off the plaza is nice too; Michael's forbreakfast or bakery treats; Dragonfly for breakfast and lunch. I've eaten at all of these and highly recommend any and all of them.

Hope this helps...

We had a terrific diner at Lambert's a few weeks ago. Really great if you like game (buffalo, venison, etc). Also had some seafood specials that sounded good. Nice wine list.
Entrees range from about $20 to $30.

Not sure of your definition of small, but would highly recommend Fechin Inn. As I recall, it has about 75 rooms. It is extremely nice and well appointed, only two blocks off the Plaza, but is next to a park and is very quiet and relaxing.

Sorry I'm drawing a blank on restaurant names, but we ate at several places on the square (or within a block of it) and never had a bad meal.

Hope this helps.
