Tampa Busch Gardens Tough to Walk?
I had arthrosopic surgery on my knee in December, and while I can get around okay, I wondered if a day at Tampa's Busch Gardens is feasible? Is it a very spread out place?
Thanks.
Thanks.

My brother in law has COPD and we have been there twice with him. He does fine. We might stop and rest--usually seeing a show or some type of entertainment and then he is good to go. We always do it in one day, actually usually leave before the park closes unless the kids want to do another ride. But I feel it is very doable.

When will you be going? If you are not used to heat, it might be rough anyway if you go in mid summer. The knee will just make things worse. I think, (not sure) that they have those little wheel chairs if you have someone to push you around if it got to bothering you.
You might want to ask your doctor. Depending on your age, general health, sometimes knee surgery can take a good while to heal and this could be a strain for you. You really, really don't want to mess it up. Ask him for his opinion before you plan.

Busch Gardens has electric carts that may be used in the park. All you have to do is leave your driver's license in the office and take the cart. There are places to "park" them if you take the train, or sky ride.
