Tampa Bay Valentine's Day Romantic Dinner
 

Opinions on best place to celebrate Valentine's Day for dinner in Tampa Bay area? Armani's, Ophelia's on the Bay, Mis en Place, Michael's on East, Beach Bistro, Marchand's? Others? Would like romantic, upscale, can be expensive. Visiting from north for long weekend.

Two of your Sarasota options would be perfect! Either Michael's-On-East (near downtown) or the Beach Bistro (on Anna Maria Island). Ophelia's is quite good also, but not particularly romantic. I'm not familiar with your other choices. I believe, however, that Michael's-On-East is the best restaurant in Sarasota. The food at the Beach Bistro is truly gourmet quality.

In Tampa, I would suggest Mise en Place or Bern's. Both are upscale, both have impeccable food and service.

Thanks very much, Beaucoup, for your recommendation. Did not make Valentine's Day but was at Beah Bistro for dinner last Saturday night. Terrific experience, fantastic food and service, wonderful sunset. All in all a first rate dning experience!
