Taking the shuttle to LAX, do I tip??

I'm taking a shuttle up to LAX by myself to go to Europe. They charge $99 one way. Do I tip and how much???

Of course you tip at least $20.00 And do not foregt to tip a pilot

nkd, would that be any pilot, or the one flying the plane you're flying on?

granniem Jun 16th, 2006 07:04 AM

Excuse me for being stupid, but why should you tip a pilot, my goodness doesn't he get paid enough. He probably makes more money than most people on board. Should you also tip the local bus driver??? This tip stuff is getting out of hand.

May NKD is a pilot?

granniem, nkd and I are referring to an old Fodor's thread called "Tipping the Pilot". It is all in jest and is very, very funny.

HI schnookies--since Super Shuttle charges around $20, the shuttle you are taking sounds more like a limo than a shuttle!! :) However, unless tip is included (as it is in the car service we use) you should tip the driver.
