Table minimums in LV Casinos

Plan to travel to LV in June and was curious whether I will be able to find $5 blackjack at upscale places lke Mirage. Am I better off staying at another casino if I only bet between $5 and $25???

Thanks.

You can find $5 dollar tables on the strip, and at the Mirage. I might suggest that you cab it downtown to the Horseshoe or the Four Queens - there you can play single deck (you will have to play 6 deck shoes on the strip) or double deck $5.00 blackjack (better odds).

Good Luck!

The table minimums vary depending on the time of day and the day of week. You will have trouble finding a $5 table at Mirage on the weekends. Typically, table minimums go up in the evening from around 8 til after midnight and on Friday evenings through Sunday. Also, if there is any big attraction in town (boxing, etc.), minimums will go up as well. There are plenty of casinos that have $3 and $5 tables, but usually there is only a few of them at each casino. You have to search for them! If you are staying at the Mirage, try the Imperial Palace across the street. It pales in comparison to atmosphere and scenery with the Mirage, but several $3 and alot of $5 tables can be found. We go there at least once a year, so if you have any more questions, let me know!

We love to play blackjack at the Barbary Coast on the strip. They have single decks and $5 tables (On the weekend too)
