Syracuse Ny-Dinosaur BBQ
 

We are going to be staying in Syracuse for one friday night. Would like to find a hotel within walking distance of the Dinosaur BBQ.

Hello, the closest one is probably the new Marx Hotel, http://www.marxsyracuse.com which is about 1 mile from the Dinosaur.

Try the Hawthorne Suites on S. Clinton St. They are about 4 blocks from the Dinosaur. The Marx is located on the other side of Interstate 81 so walking would be more dificult. Good Luck!!

Great suggestion! I forgot about the Hawthorne, and it's right in with the shops/restaurants of Amory Square.

If you end up at the Marx, here's how to get to the DBBQ: Leaving the hotel you would go down Genesee St. (toward Almond) to right on State St., left on Erie Blvd., right on North Franklin. No need to be on Rt. 81. The Hawthorne is a much shorter and "nicer" walk, but either would work
