Swim with dolphins in Maui?

Is there anywhere in Maui that you could swim with dolphins (like Dolphin Quest)? We will be going in September and I would like to surprise my husband.

Dolphin Quest has two locations in Hawaii, unfortunately neither of them on Maui. Mandarin Oriental Kahala on Oahu and the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island.

I don't know of any other interactive dolphin experiences in Hawaii, but someone else may.

We asked this same question in March while we were on a Pacific Whale Foundation excursion on Maui. The law in Maui County is that there can not be any captive dolphins. That is why there are no captive dolphins at the Maui Ocean center and no interactive dolphin experiences. You could go on a snorkel/ dolphin excursion to Lani to see the wild dolphins. Have fun!

Thanks so much for the info. Now that I know this I won't keep looking. I would love to do an excursion to Lani, but we will have our toddler with us. I don't know if that would work out. Thanks again! :)

Good for Maui County.

Hopefully, the "no captive dolphins" laws will continue to spread until those nasty swtd programs are wiped completely out.
