for a start but if you're regular sizes, there'll be plenty of places in and near South Beach.

NOT Speedo!! :))

J. Crew Catalog, Victoria's Secret Catalog, Land's End.

End of season sale at your local department store??

Mens or womens swimwear? Do you normally shop online at all? Because many online retailers of "regular" clothing have swimwear lines, and if you like their clothes, you'd probably like their swimwear and be better able to select the proper size. Please come back and tell us more so we can help!

Looking for bikinis and thongs, but a little more than a wicked weasel.

Have you checked your local department store?

This time of year, I go to either Dillards or Belk and buy eight or ten bathing suits because they are so cheap. I rarely pay more than $15 for a $100 bathing suit because of the heavy markdowns.

Victoria Secret may have some good ones.

The average woman tries on 29 swimsuits before she makes her selection. I've been selling swimwear for ten years and online swimwear purchasing is tough.

Make the swimsuit purchase part of your trip. There is no substitute for shopping at a swimwear speciality store. A good store will provide you with service and selection that will make you a repeat customer, guaranteed.

Many swimwear specialty stores have new goods on their floor right now for 2005, the same items that you'll find in the department stores up north next spring.

swimchick, that's funny you mention the average woman tries on 29 suits before she buys.

I have long since stopped trying them on. I buy them end of season so they are cheap.

There is no bathing suit out there that will turn me into either Pam Anderson or Louis Anderson.

I just bought three new ones today for a grand total (including tax) of $42.02.

As long as I'm covered, it really doesn't matter to me.

I'm one of those women that has to try on 29 swimsuits before I find one that I like :D I can't even begin to imagine buying one online!
