Swim time at hotels

Have you ever stayed at a hotel where the pool was open late at night, past 10:00pm? Often we come back to the hotel from a long day of sightseeing, etc. and want to take a relaxing swim or whirlpool, and of course the pool area closes at 10:00. I have only stayed at one hotel chain (Amerihost) that used to leave the pool area open at managers discretion (chain-wide). But recently they have cancelled that policy.

We simply allow ourselves to be silent swimmers w/o offending our sleeping neighbors.

I'm not sure if it was officialy "open" but we did late night swimming at the Ritz Carlton in Maui.

The pool at Inne at Deep Canyon in Palm Desert stays open 24 hours.
As long as you are quiet and donot disturb the other guests.
Great experience..!
