Swiftcurrent Reservation (New Large Cabin 1 Double)

I just made a reservation at Swiftcurrent for a New Large Cabin 1 Double it will accommodate up to 3 people because it has a pull out couch. Does anyone know anything about these rooms? I can't seem to locate any info on them.

I also found a reservation for 2 a double bed cabin. Would this be better? It is 50 dollars cheaper.

My Hubby and I stayed in a cabin 2 years ago and it was great! For just 2 people, I'd save the money and get the double. Clean and a great location, loved having shower and toilet vs. really camping. They are simple and rustic and great! Glacier is beautiful!

That is where I am confused, the rental agreement says "New Large Cabin, 1 double" the lady on the phone said there was a shower 3/4 bath.

I also just realized that the "2 double cabin" is actually at Rising Sun Motor inn.

I should clarify that the New Large Cabin, 1 double, is at Swiftcurrent though.

We stayed in one of the Swiftcurrent Motor Lodge rooms last summer. Our room was small, but had a bathroom with toilet and shower. I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that the folks in the cabins had to go to a separate building for bathroom/shower facilities.

I was at Swiftcurrent last August and read a sign about an area that was being rebuilt. I don't remember what happened. Maybe a fire many years back and never redone. I don't remember.

Behind and above the office is a circular road. There are motel units and some cabins. I think those new cabins are part of that circle. It has to be there.

That's 2 minutes from the trail to Fishercap Lake (10-15 minutes) as well as a minute from the Iceberg lake trail head.

I wish I could remember where I read that sign. Why don't you call the office and ask them where those new cabins are located?

Here is the information they sent me when I emailed:

These are the new cabins at Swift Current Motor Inn and cabins.

Swiftcurrent Motor Inn & Cabins offers a variety of accommodations from rustic cabins to Pinetop Motel rooms to motor inn rooms. New cabins were constructed in 2013. All cabins are single unit buildings separate from the registration desk, public restrooms, and restaurant. Cabins are non-smoking, single-story with minimal entry steps, and are located in a wooded area. Each cabin has a bedroom with a 1 double bed, separate sitting area, and a private 3/4 bath with shower. Cabins also offer a coffee maker, iron, ironing board, alarm clock, and hair dryer. Cabins have heat but no air conditioning , telephones, or televisions. Cabin parking is located near each cabin room and there is enough space for one vehicle.

* 1 double bed in separate bedroom and 1 sofabed in main room

* 4 people maximum

* No cribs

* No rollaways

Here is the location of the new cabins built in 2013 per the reservations manager Cindy

The new cabins are located in that circular drive behind the registration desk. They have labeled that circle I. When booking with us please refer to them as the ‘new’ high end cabins so we get the correct room type.

Yes, now I remember seeing a sign right behind the office. The road makes a partial circle. That's where the Iceberg Lake trail starts.

All of their lodging are right near each other. It's a matter of which you select and what's available.
