Swedish St Lucia Day NY/NJ/PA

Does any one know of any St Lucia Day events for this year scheduled around December 13?

In searching the web, it seems as though many have already occurred, which doesn't help. Is it true that Ulrika's in NYC has closed, as they served good Swedish food.

How about this? Scandinavia House has some events:

Lucia fest at the candle-lit Gloria Dei (Old Swede's) Church in Philadelphia is a charming presentation and procession by (mainly) the children of the congregation, with even three years olds singing in Swedish. The finale is the procession of the young women, in white robes, singing, with one carrying her tray, wearing a wreath of candles on her head.

Don't fprget to do some shopping and snacking afterwards.

Also in Philadelphia, the American Swedish Historical Museum has scheduled a Lucia celebration for December 5.

In NYC the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce sponsors a santa lucia day program. I know in years past it was at South Street Seaport, you can check further with them on this years activities

The Trinity Luheran Church in New York City has a wonderful Saint Lucia candle light service every year. The date varies but is usually around the 13th. You have to get tickets so you should contact the church before going, although I was able to get tickets at the door the night of the performance because some people had cancelled.
There is also a Saint Lucia celebration at the VASA Park Hall in Budd Lake NJ every year.
