You guys been hitting the catnip again?
|
Yes, Sharon, I must agree, and good nip it is too. Actually, I'm just communicating with a friend, and this guy with the $65K Porsche tried to join in with some strange words. I had to lay some Joyce on him (this is one cat who can think on the nip, and since you've shown an interest, the answers to #2 are "N" and "T". The answer to #1 of course is "Stately Plump Buck Mulligan ... " and so on for 700 plus pages, finally ending with Molly's life-affirming monologue .... YES.) Now, where was I? Oh, yes, the swarm in T ... extant or extinct? C
|
What the hell have I stumbled onto here? I don't think I'm in Kansas anymore!
|
What is T? What is 'rotary'?
Why 'remote'? And...how do you make those cute, little things over the ^oo^?
Did I find it? And....what is a 'swarm signal'???
|
Sam, Patrick, Sharon, my apologies for what at first glance hardly seemed travel-oriented. But in fact it was a communication for one of the best posters in your midst to verify the beaches are warm and clear for my flight in Friday. Nope, I'm not going to Kansas ... obviously. So, you didn't really stumble into anything but some fun. I hope you like Joyce ... beautiful, and recently chosen the number one novel of the 20th Century. So, I try to keep good company. And the puzzle obviously is Nine and Ten ... from the 11 plus exam in GB. And if you have a copy of Beethoven's 4th, this is the day to listen (at Kennedy Center last Saturday, and magnificient). So, thanks for your patience, and I shall not take more of your time. Have a good day ... this is Valentine's Day, and my mom's birthday (I cannot divulge how many ... it's a biggie). So, take good care .... e Ciao.

There must be a Valentine's Day special on drugs.
|
Very pleasant, Susan ... perhaps you could have saved that for tomorrow ... today is the day of love. I hope you receive a nice Valentine card ... maybe it will improve your spirits. Take care. Ciao
|
Anyone who says "Ciao" at the end of every message is either on drugs or a hipster doofus.
|
Hipster, Steve, if you like, but hardly a doofus, or druggie. Hey, folks, it's V Day ... what about some light and happiness, and less of that dysfunctional nitpicking that passes for thinking. Have a nice day. Ciao
|
L. I think I love you! You are almost
a crazy as me!!!
xoxo Happy Valentine's!
SAm

Ach...so sorry to have missed this fun! Rotary still rotating but nothing remotely interesting up there. Hot as Hades down here, yup, you're in luck.

I am varnishing :< and DH is playing with Tom Watson today!! Truth. He got to pick #3 in the pairings...Chi Chi went #1, Nicklaus #2. I'm even excited for him despite having spent 4 hrs on my knees on that darned non-skid deck yesterday with more promised through the weekend. He's about to join in the fun Sat and Sun...just doesn't know it yet. :>)).

Anyway....hurry, bring the suntan lotion. Sun is hot, water cool, gentle breezes. Woodys Waterside has the beer all iced and Margaritaville tunes await. Cool front coming for the weekend but only dropping temps back into the 70's from the 80's they've been in this week. Hurry! ^oo^

Hey there, Posters, weather report in hand, and ready to board. Perhaps we'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when ... Best regards, and ciao to all you chaps. L w/e
