Sushi restaurant in West LA
My Mom, daughter (6) and myself will be in LA for 3 nights and would love to go out for great sushi one night. We want a place with a good atmosphere and on the west side of LA (we are staying in Century CIty) so W. Hollywood, BH, Westwood, even Santa Monica would be good! Thanks so much!!
Also, If you have recommendations for another type of restaurant that is really good, Not a chain, and not too expensive would love to hear that, too!! My daughter is used to dining at all types of restaurants so it doesn't have to be "kid friendly!"

Sushi Masu on Westwood Boulevard which I've tried and really enjoyed. Kiriko on West Olympic just past the 405 which I haven't, but is on my to do list. Well regarded mid range restaurants, not cheap but not overly expensive either.

Kiriko sushi for sure. They are the best Authentic Japanese restaurant in L.A.
Chefs are friendly and knowlegeble. In addition, the restaurant is very cozy.
Check there Fb and Flickr.

They serve traditional Japanese food as well as creative menu.
You should try home-smoked salmon as well as dessert ice-cream.
