sushi on maui

I'm headed to Maui tomorrow. Where's the best place to get sushi? I'm willing to folk up the dough if needed :-)

Sansei.

Agree, Sansei is great.

We ate at both Sansei and Kincha at Grand Wailea. Prefer the interior decor and layout of Kincha.

In the Dophin Plaza in Kihei there is a small (seats 12) sushi place near the Mexican restaurant. It's called Kioso (maybe it's Koiso?) In any case try the yellow tail! sooooo good. And you won't break the bank here. No atmosphere to speak of but nice owners and great sushi.

My favorite is Sansei. However, if you're looking for more traditional sushi, this may not be the best choice.

D.K. Kodama has created some really yummy sushi creations - I like the spider roll.

If you want to get sushi as soon as you land, there's a great sushi place just outside of the airport. Located inside the WowWee Kava bar & grill.
