Sushi in San Francisco - favorite restaurants please
 

It doesn't have to be the fanciest restaurant……just interested in finding the freshest and most delicious. Which Sushi restaurant is your favorite?

I forgot to mention that I need a recommendation that takes reservations.

We liked Elephant Sushi during a recent visit the SF. Make reservations for sure. It's in Russian Hill.

If I recall, Elephant Sushi only took a 6 o'clock reservation, but it was a Friday night. I don't know if the same policy applies other days of the week.

I love Eiji on Sanchez near 17th Street, between the Castro and the Mission. Tiny, informal, authentic. In addition to sushi they have wonderful Tofu and other side dishes.
