2009 --In March, we went to San Antonio. Loved it. In July, we went to New York City, which was incredible.
In 2010, we're going to the Grand Canyon this summer, but that's the only notable trip we have planned right now.

I, The Great and Poweful Thingorjus, travelled to Rome in Sept. with my husband, Keith. We stopped to see the infamous Cousin Muffy in Germany whilst in transit to Rome. She lives in a castle with her new husband (I think his exact title is something like Margrave?) near Lake Constance.

Next Christmas, we would like to go to Israel for two weeks.

We will also be visiting Austin, Texas in February.

Thanks for asking.

Love you, hate your shoes,
Thin

We were so lucky this year to have great visits to Las Vegas/Death Valley, Ontario/Upstate NY, Boston and our usual long weekends in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The big news is that next year, we're going to Asia; planning on Taiwan for our son's wedding, then Hong Kong, Shanghai and possibly Japan. Not too shabby!

Short trips this year to Epcot Food and Wine Festival, Columbus Ohio for football weekend, and of course that paradise called Kauai.

2009: Tokyo/Kyoto, San Francisco, the Dolomites/Munich and London

2010: Istanbul/Cappadocia; beyond that, nothing planned yet, but working on it. We're thinking about a summer trip to Copenhagen and Norway, but who knows... I think more of my travel time next year will be spent figuring out where DD wants to go to college.

Thin, welcome back! I recently re-read your classic reports about Istanbul as part of my planning.

We did a loop through west central New Mexico in May - Acoma Pueblo, El Morro National Monument, Zuni Pueblo, Pie Town, the Very Large Array, and back home. In October we went to CA to visit my dad.

No plans for 2010, except seeing my dad.

2009: Belgium, the Netherlands, and New Jersey. Can you spot the one that doesn't belong?

2010: IF we have the money, we will go to the east coast in August for a trip with the extended family and to visit some friends. If we don't have the money, we will take a long camping vacation in Northern CA and/or Oregon.
