Superbowl in New Orleans
Any suggestions for where the best place is for a visitor to watch the game this weekend? I'm staying in the french quarter.

It will be on TVs everywhere so it'll actually be hard to MISS the game.<BR><BR>Kabby's at the Riverwalk is a huge sports bar with lots of TVs. No bad seats.
Uh, the Superbowl is in San Diego CA this year...
I believe Sharon is aware of that tagliabue.
Sharon, Your header is a bit comical because it does imply that you thought the SB is in NO this year. If you were to show up at the superdome on Sunday you would, of course, be either 1 year late or off by almost a continent.
Actually, Sharon's statement is pretty no-brainer. She will be in New Orleans and wants to watch the game. She even gave the neighborhood info. She did not imply she wanted to GO to the game!
Ken, I said her HEADER is comical. Yes her question in a "no-brainer." I only point this out because we, women, are often thought of as knowing nothing about sports. <BR><BR>"Superbowl in N.O." means to me XXI Chicago over New England, XXXI Green Bay over New England, or XXXVI New England over St. Louis.
Oops! You forgot one Sara, Super Bowl VI, 1972, Dallas over the Dolphins. "I was there". It was held in Tulane Stadium, there being no Super Dome at the time.<BR><BR> GO BUCS!!
Just saw an ad on TV where SWA is offering $29 fares between So Cal and Oakland, should help the Raider crowd get down to San Diego in large numbers.<BR><BR>Perhaps Nola is a great vantage point to watch the game, and then watch San Diego burn afterwards if the Raiders win. Come to think of it, the same thing will probably happen if Oakland loses.
