Super Bowl
I'm thinking of getting a special gift ( to me) on my retirement of super bowl tickets.
Does anyone have a recommendation of a tour company that would provide a package |
Lpk, I don't know of one in particular but go with a company that offers Masters packages.
Reason being that if offer Masters packages then they have been in business for some time and are reputable. |
From superbowl.com :
"The demand for tickets to Super Bowl XLI greatly exceeds our ability to accommodate the majority of our fans interested in attending. Most tickets are made available through the two teams competing in the game, and to a lesser extent through each of our other NFL teams. Remaining tickets for the general public are made available through a random drawing. There is no other means for the general public to purchase tickets. The NFL does not sell tickets to travel or ticket agents." |

http://www.onpointevents.com/PPF/cat...1_/onpoint.asp I once shared a trade show booth with a guy who only did specialty packages. These guys have inside contacts which is how they get their tickets to 'supposedly' ticketless event. For example, the only way you can get tickets to The Masters is if you get them from a member of Augusta National. This guy had many members sell him their tickets. He even got taken to court by The Masters and Augusta National but refused to tell his sources. |
Thanks for the links to the 2 sites
I did not think it would be so difficult to get them still sounds like fun! |
You will be able to buy tickets on ebay, stubhub, etc once the tickets are actually released. You will pay top dollar though...many times over face value.
|
You can also purchase tickets from the reputable, national ticket agencies. You will also pay top dollar and you won't receive the tickets until they are released a week or so before the game, but this is a reliable access to tickets.
|
Go to the game, wait a few minutes past kickoff, and you'll be able to buy tickets at face or below right outside the gate. It's amazing how many are available.
|
I've been to 3 Super Bowls since the mid 80's - and each time bought my tickets in the "fan experience" type areas around the stadiums either just before or right at kick off. But the last one was 6 years ago and lots may have changed - especially w/ the added security etc.
