Sunday Itinerary

This is probably a crazy itineray, but... your thoughts.

We're looking to drive from our hotel in Newark to Battery Park and will park there. Will eat on Mott St. in China Town - does subway go in straight shot to China Town. Will go from China Town to attend afternoon service at Brooklyn Tabernacle (Fulton Street Mall). Is there pretty direct public transit or should we drive to Brooklyn? From Brooklyn back to Manhattan for evening harbor cruise. Kinda a crazy loop, but it hits the things we'd like to do on Sunday.

You will get more responses if you repost this with a subject line that includes what area you are speaking of. Like "Itinerary from Newark to Battery Park" or something.

I don't think I'd go back to the car from Chinatown. I know you can get parking in that general area in Brooklyn, but I'm not sure about right near the mall. You can take the R or W from Whitehall to Canal for lunch. Then you could get back on the R and take it to Dekalb Avenue in Brooklyn. I'm not sure if this is the easiest/best route but all stops are convenient and will get you where you're going. You don't want to skip Chinatown and just drive to Brooklyn to eat?

Where is your hotel in Newark and how many travelers are you? You might consider using public transport for your entire trip.

Two, maybe three travelers, all adults. We're staying near Newark Airport. Would have to check w/ spouse but I think at Fairfield Inn.
