Sunday Brunch on Big Island

Well, rats! We have been going to the Sunday Brunch at the Mauna Kea for years. When the hotel closed for renovations after the earthquake we heard they moved it to the Hapuna Beach, but when we called they said it had been discontinued. We saw the Hilton Waikoloa now offers one; has anyone been to it? Or do you know of another one on the Kona side?

We are spoiled, for sure, but hope we can find one this year and hope the Mauna Kea opens next year!

The Royal Kona Resort on Alii Drive in Kona has a wonderful breakfast buffet every morning. About $15.00. Ocean front location.

The Mauna Kea buffet was a great tradition. A good second choice might be the one at the Mauna Lani Hotel, just down the road and also very good.

The Mauna Kea buffet was fantastic... we always enjoyed ourselves WAY too much there, especially at the dessert table. But I have heard really good things about the Mauna Lani buffet... I would go there in lieu of.
