Sunday Brunch--Los Angeles...ideas please!

Planning to go to brunch next Sunday with 5 adults and an extremely well-behaved but still 21/2 year-old child. We'll be celebrating an anniversary.

We had gone to Lavande's at the Lowes Hotel in Santa Monica for the buffet--such fun! It has become a new "retro" place, (Does LA need another hang-out for wanna-bees?) and so I need to find something else.

Would love a good old-fashioned brunch with a buffet. Or just a great place that takes reservations so we do not have to wait for hours.

Any thoughts on the House of Blues Gospel brunch? Any hotel brunches? We are all fairly gourmet eaters but it does not have to be the epitome of fine dining! Just a good brunch.

Money no object. Thanks!

I think the gospel brunch at HOB is a real hoot -- lots of fun. The food won't win any gourmet awards, but it is pretty good. It's really all about the entertainment.

The Gardens at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills is supposed to have a wonderful brunch buffet. It's about $50 a person, I think.

Thanks. I was looking at MDR. Jer-ne or the Warehouse. The Warehouse is less luxurious but might be kind of kitchy and fun with a small child....

How about the brunch aboard the Queen Mary? The toddler might enjoy that. I have never been, but it sounds like it might meet your criteria.

I give up. What's MDR?

Just thought of another. The Trump Nat'l Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes has a very nice Sunday Brunch with gorgeous ocean views.

Oh. Duh!!!! I was taxing my brain thinking of every restaurant possible that started with M.
