Sunday Brunch in St. Augustine, FL suggestions?

We have close friends that will be in St. Augustine in August. Their daughter is turning 21 on a Sunday and they are looking for a special place to have Sunday brunch or lunch while they are there. Any suggestions for this special day?

I have owned a condo in St. Augustine for 15 years, but have not personally been to all of these places. I have heard that the others are quite good though.

I have been to the Columbia in Orlando, Tampa, St. Pete, and Sand Key and it is a great place. I can only guess that the one in St. Aug is great too. It is spanish food and a treat!

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will pass them on to my friends. If you have any suggestions for different or unique things to do, please pass them on. They will be there four days.

I've been to the Columbia in St. Augustine as well as a few others in Florida. It is an excellent restaurant. I loved the atmosphere of the old city and the food and service was excellent. It is not cheap, but was well worth the meal/experience.

For a special meal I would vote for La Parisienne or Opus 39. Both are excellent and offer a special experience.

I agree with the above recommendation regarding Opus 39 <http://www.opus39.com/>. It is an outstanding restaurant, but I don't believe they are open for lunch or brunch.
