Sunday brunch in Kauai
Going to Hanalei area in two weeks--any suggestions for a good Sunday Brunch?
|
Lucky you. Brunch on the terrace at Cafe Hanalei at the Princeville Hotel would be my choice.
|
Concur with Princeville Hotel. Just don't expect good food, and you won't be disappointed. The view will more than make up for it however.

The Sunday brunch buffet at Cafe Hanalei offers great food, as well as those picture-postcard views of Hanalei Bay, the surrounding mountains, and the ocean.
Make reservations though -- it can get booked up fast. |
Aloha auntie. Agree with you about the buffet. Great food! Great views!
|
Another vote for the buffet at Princeville. And take it from me, I don't say many exciting things about Kauai!
;) |
It's even better if you go with a bunch of crazy people. :-X
|
yes, that always enhances the flavor!!!!
|
...and I got the pix to prove it!
;) |
It's a miracle the place was still standing when you guys were done there! No wonder they have to remodel the hotel.
|
It was Mauka Bob's fault, I keep tellinyah'...Mauka Bob's fault!

Sheesh...can't youse guyz keep it down??? 8-)
|
eh, Auntie, where's my nice comment?
;) Actually, I must admit, Mauka Bob and Kal do make a dangerous pair... |
Dr. Nitro and Mr. Glycerin.

we went to cafe hanalei this past sunday- very good but not as much variety as i expected. they don't take reservations for just two people but there were plenty of tables open before noon
|
Thank you Auntie!!

Loved the brunch at the Princeville. The view is beautiful. Maybe youu'll see a rainbow over the mountains. We saw one every morning during a stay in 2005.The food was very good with a variety of different ethnic foods in addition to traditional breakfast items. I really miss that delicious Kona coffee too! Definitely get a terrace seat.Tip the hostess for seating.
