Summerfest in Milwaukee
 

Looking for a hotel close to Summerfest. Would like to be able to walk if possible or take a shuttle if it is offered. Thanks.

I believe that the Park East Hotel, at 916 E. State, is the closest. They have a DT shuttle service, which may go to Summerfest.

There's also the Milwaukee Hilton on Wisconsin Avenue. They run a summerfest shuttle up and down the ave. day and night. Also the Pfister, which is more formal and expensive. Hotel Metro is a great boutique hotel--A block from the shuttle.

Has anyone stayed at the Wyndham Milwaukee? How did you like it?

I haven't stayed there, but its a very nice hotel.
