Summer beach vacation June or July w/ 3 little kids (ages 1, 5 and 8)

I have points to fly on Southwest (we fly out of Milwaukee, WI) so I am looking for an AirBnb, VRBO, etc... type place on the beach for 1 week. We have 3 kids ages 8, 5 and 1 so our must have's are the following:
  • Direct flight from Milwaukee on Southwest
  • 2 bedrooms
  • Kitchenette in our room
  • Directly on the beach
  • Ocean view from our room
  • Screened in porch
  • Outdoor pool
We usually go to Florida but are open to other locales. In Florida we have stayed at Mitchell's Sand Castle and Pelican's Roost in Sanibel but we'd like to try something new if we go to Florida.

Does anyone have any suggestions that fit this bill?

Since your #1 must have is direct flight from MKE on Southwest, that limits you to these beach destinations.

Fort Myers
Fort Lauderdale
Tampa

Thanks J62. Any recommendations on places to stay at any of those 3 destinations?

Southwest flies into Manchester, NH, so if you decide on Maine, that might be as convenient as Portland. Any of the southern beaches, like York Beach, Old Orchard, etc. will have lodging that fits your requirements. The water will not be warm like Florida, but if you are used to WI lake water you will be ok.

Recommended kid friendly place

Hey! Your question put me back on my vacation 2 years ago. I went on vacation with family to Manzanita Beach, Oregon. I don't know what the current situation is but you can check by calling (503) 354-4287. To confirm COVID precautions. This is Manzanita vacation rental, amazing service. Personally said that my experience in their rental homes was very good. If you need I will share the website.

If you want to come out to the left coast, fly to LAX and then pick something from Santa Barbara to San Diego.

My parents used to winter at the Sand Dollar Condos Indian Shores Florida, we visited several times with our two boys when they were young. On the beach, kitchen, private pier out front we took the boys fishing, miles of beach to walk, seabird sanctuary we visited umpteen times 200 yards away. Not fancy with pool, don't think screened in porch though. Negative would be no restaurants walking distance and in the winter a least only older adults around.
