Suites in Orlando

Can anyone suggest an all-suite(one with kitchnette) hotel in Orlando (somewhere half way between Universal Studios and WDW). We prefer either a Residence Inn or Homewood Suites but find there are several in the area and have no idea which one is the most conveniently located (newer property is also a plus). Thanks.

Hi Griffie,

There are a couple of Homewood suites on I Drive close to Universal as per this site;
http://www.homewood-suites.com/en/hw...questid=381240

I have stayed at the one on I drive-Nr Universal Studios. It is fine with complimentary breakfast and a managers reception in the evening. The only slight problem being that as the pool is between the two wings it has shade for a good part of the day.

This one is close to Wonderworks and Pointe Orlando shopping complex ( 5-10min walk maximum) and is about 100 yards off I drive.

There is a nearer Homewood Suites to Universal on Hopsitality Way ( with no pool) and there are a couple closer to WDW in the LBV area.

Regards

We stayed at the Homewood Suites that is closer to Walt Disney World and loved it. If you want to be more centrally located, you would probably want to stay at the Homewood Suites mentioned in the above post. I think you will like Homewood Suites well enough and will be happy staying there.

Don't let a pool being shaded bother you if you'll be in Orlando in the spring, summer, or fall. It's so incredibly hot that the shade will be nice.

Thanks for all your replies. We stayed a the HW suites on 3100 Parkway Blvd (Maingate at the Parkway) back in 1994 and was very happy. Is this the same one you're talking about tcapp? Just wondered if it's still as nice since it's been almost 10 years now since we stayed there.

Thank you all for your advice. Anyone have any opinion about Residence Inns in the area?

Griffie
