Suites in Key West

My brother & I will be in Key West for one day in mid-June. Any suggestions for a hotel w/ 2 bedroom suites in the Duval St./Mallory Square area (preferably on the water)?

Try the Galleon, Ocean Key Resort or go to www.keywest.com and check out lodgings.

Whoops, forgot the Hyatt and the Hilton are near Duval street too.

If by "suite" you mean a place with bedrooms and a separate kitchen, Ocean Key House and Galleon are your best (and probably only ) bets. Neither the Hilton nor Hyatt has rooms with kitchens and I don't think either has two bedroom units.

We stayed in a place called Archer House Suites. WWW.ArcherHouseSuites.com We had an upstairs apartment(Hibiscus) with a loft as a second bedroom. It had a nice kitchen, living room/dining room and a nice wrap around deck that overlooked the pool that was secluded. You would have to walk to Duval street but it's not that far and this was a great property we walked down to Duval and Mallory of an evening and rented bikes. You can rent mopeds to.

The Sheraton Suites are nowhere near Mallory Square. They're on the opposite side of Key West on the Atlantic.

True about the Sheraton, but that said, it is a very nice place, great rooms, great bar and cafe, just across street from nice beach, and given that Key West is small not a big deal to go over to Mallory square. Has a great pool and hot tubs and is nice and quiet at night. Shuttle service is available and the Conch Train stops at the hotel. Food is quite good here and the staff is very nice. We enjoyed our stay there and did not feel that we missed anything by not being right on the square.
