There are a number of suite hotels in the city. Do you have a preference of neighborhood?

The Doubletree Suites is located in the heart of Times Square. I haven't stayed there, but I have been to meetings in the rooms and they are quite nice.

Friends have stayed at the Kimberly (or was it the Benjamin). Located in the 50's and Lexington Ave. They enjoyed it and it had a kitchenette that was helpful since they had a 1-yr-old baby. They got a good deal on expedia.com.

I have stayed at the Kimberly Suites and The Fitzpatrick Hotel (not the one by Grand Central) both have lovely comfortable suites.
A.M.

(800) ME-SUITE. They operate 5 or 6 suite hotels.

My sister, her family and mother's helper stayed in a suite at the Delmonico Hotel at 59th and Park Ave. last Thanksgiving. They loved it because of all the space and its location near Central Park and its zoo, FAO Schwartz, subway, etc. It's an older hotel but very comfortable.

The Avalon Hotel on 32nd st and 5th av. Family of mine stayed there and loved it. It's relatively new and includes breakfast. The bedroom has 2 queen beds and the living room had a sofa bed. Each room has a tv and i think there were also 2 bathrooms.
