Ok, now I have to ask, what are the age ranges for the following attractions:

Busch Gardens near Tampa
Legoland near San Diego
Disneyland in Anaheim

I also have a MLB requirement, but San Diego, Miami, Tampa, and Los Angeles fulfill that requirement.

By the way I really like vova's suggestions for the house rentals near La Jolla but the places we wanted are already booked...

When I say age ranges, I mean at what age are those attractions best enjoyed.

Busch Gardens is a combination amusement park/zoo, so there's something for everyone. Sesame Street Safari for the little kids; thrill rides for the older kids; concerts, shows and great animal exhibits for everyone. They're also doing a online ticket and free meals special - check their website.

Legoland is great for young kids - your 9 yo is about the upper limit, so it it great from families w/ little children. Few older kids will be there.

Disneyland is good from about 2.5 or 3 yo (they can't go on quite a few of the rides, but there are lots that are OK) up to 90 yo.

Also consider Knott's Berry Farm - also good from toddler up to old folks. . . . .

Well, the group thing fell apart as everyone had different ideas and some couldn't make it.

In lieu of the reunion, it looks like I'll just take my family to San Diego for a little Legoland and beach. I'm sure we'll have fun.

Thanks for the advice. We are contemplating next year for the get together.
