Suggestions for parking at Orlando airport

We will be leaving our car at the Orlando airport for a week. Any suggestions for parking that are cheaper than the official airport parking? Thanks

Wow, this is an old thread! I have recently become aware of a new and better option and now use Fast Park and Relax. The big advantage is all covered parking at no extra cost. This is a big deal given the harsh summer weather conditions. They also give an AAA discount (15%, I think). http://www.thefastpark.com/location/orlando/

Orlando_Vic - we use Fast Park and Relax all the time. Be sure to sign up for their Rewards card, you can accumulate free parking. Last fall we got a week of free parking.

I especially like that (1) the parking is covered, (2) they give you ice cold bottles of water as you leave, (3) they give you a newspaper in the mornings as you come in, (4) they are pretty frequent and reliable in their shuttles, and (5) they are really inexpensive. And of course close to the airport, but they are not unique in that.

We occasionally use the Tampa airport. Once we chose what I thought was a convenient and inexpensive off-airport parking lot. What a scary dump it turned out to be on our return - it was night, it was not that close, it was not in a very good area, and it took about 1-1/2 hours to get our car.
