Suggestions for NE Foliage Needed

I am in PA just NE of Harrisburg and would like to take advantage of the best lear peeping in surrounding areas. I would like to limit my drive to destinations of 6 hr or less, so that would be PA, lower NY, NH or VT. Do you know of any especially scenic areas? Can you suggest specific drives in these areas? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

The big question is when you plan on going? If we know when, then we can give you some better idea as to wher the best foliage areas will be.
