Thanks for reporting back. Sounds a great trip. The Fechin house in Taos is on to-do list so glad to hear it is worth a stop.

Thanks for reporting back. Sounds like a very nice trip.

Did you go to Taos Pueblo?

Tsankawi is actually considered/administered as part of Bandolier. I love it, but the last time we were there the floods had made it impossible to get up on top where the ruins are. Glad you were able to get there too.

Yes, we went to Taos Pueblo and liked it. We enjoyed great weather at Tsankawi and it was very easy to get to the top.
Thank you for reminding.

Another strong recommendation to visit Acoma Pueblo.

Petroglyph National monument is also interesting.

I just returned from 3 days in Albuquerque and 2 in Santa Fe - have to get around to posting trip report. But if others are looking at this thread to get ideas for future trip, one suggestion I have is to get in your rental car and drive out of one or both places. Just drive. Pick a road. We asked security guard at O'Keefe Museum which way to head. For two well-traveled, but lifelong New Englanders, it was an interesting experience to see the little town and landscape in that part of the country.
