Suggestions For A Light Bite In Las Vegas
My daughter (vegetarian) and I arrive at the Paris Hotel around 2PM on Easter Sunday. We have tickets to see LOVE at the Mirage at 7PM. Can you suggest a place for a light late lunch/early dinner as we work our way down to the Mirage? Looking for a great salad as an entre. Also, do you have a suggestion for "the best cannoli" in Las Vegas as we work our way back to Paris after the show? Veneian? We have lunch reservations at Mon Ami Gambi on Monday before heading to the airport.

There are great little cafes just like you are in Paris, France with lots of places to have a light bite of salad/quiche or pan au chocolat, etc in the Paris Casino..it is a lovely wonderful place to stroll.
Have a great time.. |
Hey, I just got back from there: Le Cafe in Paris has nice light fare, including entre salads. I had a really good salade nicoise. Olives in Bellagio is excellent, but we had dinner there, I don't know what lunch is like. They have a good selection of small flatbread ``pizzas.'' There are also several pizza varieties and good entree salads at the Pizza resturant in Mirage (forget the name of it, but it is next to the deli). The chop salad was nice. |
I think it's the California Pizza Kitchen: http://www.mirage.com/dining/casual_dining.aspx
I haven't been to that one, but have been to others. They do have Vegetarian options (maybe not Vegan) and a lot of good salads. Also, check the Grand Lux Cafe at the Venetian. |
Thank you for the suggestions. Looks like we should have no problems eating our way down the strip.

Another vote for Grand Lux Cafe at the Venetian. We were just there a week ago. The Grand Lux' food was always excellent. They have some excellent salads also. As for cannoli, check out the menus at the "outdoor" restaurants at the Venetian (Postrio, etc). Also, you will absolutely love LOVE. And there are no bad seats in the house.
