Studio-size Apartments, Guest Houses for rent, Ojai and Ventura
Published awrd-winning popular novelist would like to find a studio-sized apartment, guest house, pool-house, or similar, etc. in the Ojai, Ventura area. Willing to go for long lease. Scenic would be a plus, near beach, ditto. Could be part of a larger property. One quiet occupant, no smoke, no drink. Furnished OK, or not.

Hola tower...As I ease into semi-retirement, we have been contemplating about places to move. Did you end up moving to Ojai, and if you did, how do you like it? We would like to downsize, so hoping the affordability factor in your area is better than around here, where I could not afford to buy my own house now. Thanks for any info on Ojai and its surroundings you might be able to pass along. Cheers and hope all is well!

Mai Tai...here's some stuff on Ojai...even Boca Raton recognizes our little town
Been here for a year and love it. All my family surround me here (6 grandchildren, all adults).
Ojai is loaded with avocado groves and horse ranches. A very small, very pleasant place (pop.8000). Only half hour from the beaches in Ventura and Carpinteria). Cost-wise, I imagine you can beat property prices in the Inland Empire, where you now live. If you really downsize, there will be some "bargains" in housing here.
Good luck. (I'll try to dig up some more "stuff")..best thing would be to spend a weekend in Ojai and scout around. No language barriers! This ain't Europe!
I have a condo in a small complex of 25 units, pool, carport etc..
