There is no such thing as a NY forum. All messages go into the US forum, and selecting NY only helps people who are searching for NY. Let me poke around and I'll let you know of any fairs.

There are some listings here from the companies that organize most of the street fairs. You're just about at the end of street fair season here in NY

I love the Crafts on Columbus Fair. Does anyone know if the Greenmarket is still running at 77th and Amsterdam?

I will be in NYC over the 28-29th, and the 7th Street Carnival will be going on there. What can we expect to encounter? Anyone been?

The problem with most street fairs in NY is that it's the exact same vendors every time (tube socks, wicker baskets, gyros, funnel cake, etc.). Production companies control all of the licenses for these events, and is no incentive for them to reach out to local business or change the lineup. After you've seen one, for the most part, you've seen them all. If you've never been, it's defintely worth it to go.

I would instead advocate the Greenmarket on the UWS, the Greenmarket in Union Square, or Crafts on Columbus for more unique and local vendors.

I think the weekend of the 21st there is also an art/craft show at Brooklyn Botanical Gardens(this is the first year) put on by the promoters of the one at Lincoln Center so it will be very good art.
